Welcome to Professor Obviously ("the Site", "we", "us"), an adult audio-fiction membership site operated from the United Kingdom. By creating an account or using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
The Site contains explicit audio fiction intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to access or use the Site. By using the Site you confirm that you meet this requirement. Accounts found to belong to minors will be removed.
Every audio work on the Site is a fictional performance recorded by consenting adult voice actors. All characters portrayed in audio, artwork and text are fictional adults aged 18 or over. Cover artwork is illustrated or digitally generated and does not depict any real person. Nothing on the Site depicts, or is intended to depict, real events or real people.
You need an account with a valid email address to join the community, and email verification is required before you can post. Keep your password private — you are responsible for activity on your account, and accounts may not be shared. One account per person. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Free accounts can access free audios and previews. Paid membership costs $11.99 USD per month and unlocks the full library and member features. Membership renews automatically each month until you cancel. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor — we never see or store your card details. You can cancel at any time from your Account Settings; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. If the price ever changes, we will tell you in advance and you can cancel before the change takes effect.
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a digital service. By starting a membership you ask us to give you immediate access to paid digital content, and you acknowledge that once you begin streaming paid content you lose the right to cancel in respect of the content already supplied. You can still cancel the ongoing subscription itself at any time as described above.
Beyond your legal rights, refunds are considered case by case at our discretion — if something has gone wrong, use the contact form and we will look at it honestly. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
All audio, artwork, text and branding on the Site belong to us or our licensors. Your membership gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to stream the content for your own private, non-commercial listening. You may not download, record, copy, redistribute, re-upload, sell or publicly perform any content from the Site, or share member content with non-members. Doing so ends your membership without refund and may have legal consequences.
The Common Room, member walls and comments exist for members to enjoy. When posting you agree not to: harass, threaten or abuse anyone; post content involving minors in any form, including roleplay; post illegal content; reveal anyone's personal information; impersonate others; post spam or advertising; or upload content you do not have the right to share. Posting images is a paid-member feature. We may remove any post and suspend or ban any account at our discretion to keep the community safe.
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting you give us a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the Site for as long as it remains posted. You can delete your own posts at any time.
We work to keep the Site available and working well, but it is provided "as is" and we cannot promise uninterrupted service. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may update these terms from time to time. Meaningful changes will be announced on the Site, and continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes belong to the courts of England and Wales — though if you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep any protections your local law gives you.
